ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)
GRIMSBY ROAD, LACEBY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 23-011) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway:
- A section of GRIMSBY ROAD – Part length from its junction with the A46 GRIMSBY ROAD in a westerly direction for a distance of 123 metres to the property boundary of the MARSHALL BMW GARAGE.
- Alternative route: A46 GRIMSBY ROAD, CAISTOR ROAD (REVERSE ROUTE APPLIES)
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by ANGLIAN WATER. These works are detailed as to add a new connection into the area (Utility Works).
The Order will come into operation on Tuesday, 2 May 2023, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Thursday, 4 May 2023. Definitive dates and times will be notified with on-site advanced warning signs.
