ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)
MAIN ROAD, ASHBY-CUM-FENBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 23-035) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, from PROCEEDING along on the below sections of highway:
The full extent of B1203 ASHBY HILL from the junction of WAITHE LANE heading in a south westerly direction to A18 Barton Street.
The full of extent of Ashby Lane/Main Road from the junction of B1203 ASHBY HILL heading in a south easterly direction to Thoroughfare.
Alternative route: Barton Street, Whites Road, A16, Cheapside, Brigsley Road.
Diversion 2: Main Road, Waithe Lane, Main Road
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by ANGLIAN WATER. These works are detailed as repair of defect.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 22 May 2023, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Wednesday, 24 May 2023. Definitive dates and times will be notified with on-site advanced warning signs.
