THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)

BEACH HOLT LANE, MAIN ROAD AND NOOKING LANE (AYLESBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND STOPPING– TTRO 22-070) ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be:

  1. that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway:
  • BEACH HOLT LANE – Full extent from its junction with A18 BARTON STREET to its intersection with NOOKING LANE.
  • NOOKING LANE – Full extent from its intersection with BEACH HOLT LANE to its intersection with MAIN ROAD (junction of CHURCH LANE).

Alternative route (reverse route applies): A18 BARTON STREET, A46 GRIMSBY ROAD, GRIMSBY ROAD (LACEBY), HIGH STREET (LACEBY), BUTT LANE

  • MAIN ROAD – Full extent from its intersection with NOOKING LANE to its roundabout junction with BUTT LANE / AYLESBY ROAD.

Alternative route (reverse route applies): A18 BARTON STREET, A46 GRIMSBY ROAD, GRIMSBY ROAD (LACEBY), HIGH STREET (LACEBY), BUTT LANE

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by North East Lincolnshire Council.  These works are detailed as the implementation of a highway maintenance scheme to install road markings and traffic signs.

The Order will come into operation on Monday, 15 August 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 26 August 2022.  Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
