THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)

PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-083) ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along the below sections of highway:

  • OVERNIGHT – Stallingborough Level Crossing – STATION ROAD – Part Length from its junction with AYSCOUGH AVENUE to its junction with its junction with CLARKSON ROAD – Alternative route: STATION ROAD, SOUTH MARSH LANE, NORTH MOSS LANE, KILN LANE, A1173 KINGS ROAD, MANBY ROAD, A160 MANBY ROAD, A180 EASTBOUND, A1173 MATTHEW FORD WAY, A1173 STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD, STATION ROAD, STALLINGBOROUGH and the reverse
  • OVERNIGHT – Woad Lane Level Crossing – WOAD LANE – Part Length from its roundabout junction with STATION ROAD to its junction with its junction with HOLME FARM CLOSE -Alternative route: WOAD LANE, ESTATE ROAD 5, ESTATE ROAD 2, A180 WESTBOUND, A1136, A1136 GREAT COATES ROAD, STATION ROAD and the reverse
  • OVERNIGHT – Healing Level Crossing – MARSH LANE – Part Length from its junction with ASHLEIGH COURT to a point no further than 40meters from the northern kerbline of ASHLEIGH COURT, HEALING – No alternative route.

This temporary prohibition is requited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by TMS Ltd on behalf of Network Rail.  These works are detailed as annual barrier inspections and renewal of circuit controllers at the level crossing.  Definitive dates and times will be notified by press release and on-site advanced warning signs.

The Order will come into operation on Tuesday, 18 August 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday, 30 August 2020.
