THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)

NR0415 – FISH DOCK LEVEL CROSSING, ROWLANDSON STREET, GRIMSBY AND NR0440 – STATION ROAD LEVEL CROSSING, STATION ROAD, STALLINGBOROUGH

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-113) ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along the below sections of highway:

  • NR0415 – OVERNIGHT A section of ROWLANDSON STREET, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its junction with MURRAY STREET to its junction with RIBY SQUARE

Alternative route: EASTSIDE ROAD, LOCKHILL ROAD, LOCKHILL ROUNDABOUT, CLEETHORPE ROAD EAST BOUND, RIBY SQUARE, FREEMAN STREET, CHURCH STREET, RAILWAY PLACE, RIBY SQUARE, ROWLANDSON STREET.

  • NR0440 – OVERNIGHT A section of STATION ROAD, STALLINGBOROUGH – Part Length from its junction with JACKSON DRIVE to its junction with AYSCOUGH AVENUE

Alternative route: STATION ROAD, SOUTH MARSH ROAD, NORTH MOSS LANE, KILN LANE, A1173 KINGS ROAD, MANBY ROAD, A160 MANBY ROAD, A180 EAST BOUND, A1173 MATHEW FORD WAY, A1173 STALLINGBORUGH ROAD, STATION ROAD

This temporary prohibition is requited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail Contractors.  These works are detailed as level crossing annual barrier testing.

The Order will come into operation on Saturday, 10 October 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Monday, 12 October 2020.
