THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (SPECIAL EVENTS) – SECTION 16A, B

KINGS ROAD AND MERIDIAN ROAD, CLEETHORPES – 10K RACE

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 21-079) ORDER 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of roads  and footways detailed in Schedule 1:1 of this Order, on Sunday 19th September 2021 between 08:00hrs and 13:00hrs.

This temporary prohibition is required to safely facilitate the 10k race being held by Tape 2 Tape.  

The Order will come into operation on Sunday, 19 September 2021, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding three days unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday, 19 September 2021.  Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.

  • KINGS ROAD – Its FULL length from its junction with CROMWELL ROAD to its junction with NORTH SEA LANE.
  • MERIDIAN ROAD (Anthonys Bank) – Its FULL length from its junction with KINGS ROAD to its CUL DE SAC end

Alternative route: A1098 QUEENS PARADE, A1098 TAYLORS AVENUE, A1031 HUMBERSTON ROAD, NORTH SEA LANE

Footpaths and Walkway Closures

Public Path commencing from Cleethorpes Leisure Centre at OS grid reference TA531432 408006 and runs in a generally south easterly direction known as Marine Walk for approximately 2703metres to OS grid reference TA 533179, 406095.

Public Path commencing from OS grid reference TA5333179 406095 and runs in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 147 metres to Public Footpath No. 2 Cleethorpes at OS grid reference TA 533071 406008.

Of which, that length of Public Footpath No. 2 Cleethorpes which commences at OS grid reference TA 533071, 406008 and runs in a generally easterly direction for approximately 607 metres to Public Bridleway No. 51 OS grid reference TA 532462 406119.

Public Bridleway No. 51 Cleethorpes which commences at OS grid reference TA 532462 406119 and runs in a generally southerly direction for approximately 910 metres to South Sea Lane OS grid reference TA 532884 405375.

Of which, that length of Public Footpath No. 51 Cleethorpes which commences at County Boundary OS grid reference TA 532955 405221 and runs in a generally northerly direction for approximately 815 metres to Public Bridleway No. 51 OS grid reference TA 532955 405221.

Public Bridleway No. 51 Cleethorpes which commences at OS grid reference TA 532955 405221 and runs in a generally northerly direction for approximately 202 metres to OS grid reference TA 532942 405304.
