APRIL LEVEL CROSSING CLOSURES, GRIMSBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 21-013) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from proceeding along the below sections of highway:
OVERNIGHT CLOSURE – 24th and 27th April from 20:00 – 06:00hrs
A section of WELLOWGATE– Part Length from its junction with CHURCH LANE to its junction with BRIGHOWGATE
Alternative route: BRIGHOWGATE, A1243 BARGATE, A1136 DEANSGATE, CHURCH LANE
OVERNIGHT CLOSURE – 28th April from 20:00 – 06:00hrs
A section of ROWLANDSON STREET– Part Length from its junction with MURRAY STREET to its junction with RIBY SQUARE
Alternative route: FISH DOCK ROAD, EASTSIDE ROAD, ROYAL STREET, LOCKHILL ROAD, A180 EB, CLEETHORPE ROAD, RIBY SQUARE
OVERNIGHT CLOSURE – 29th April from 20:00 – 06:00hrs
A section of CARTERGATE– Part Length from its junction with PRINCES AVENUE to its junction with QUEENS PARADE ACCESS ROAD
Alternative route: CARTERGATE, A1136 FREDERICK WARD WAY SB, CATERGATE
OVERNIGHT CLOSURE –30th April from 20:00 – 06:00hrs
A section of LITTLEFIELD LANE– Part Length from its junction with CROMWELL AVENUE to its junction with HUME STREET
Alternative route: LITTLEFIELD LANE, EARL STREET, CARTERGATE, A1136 FREDERICK WARD WAY SB, DUDLEY STREET
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by NETWORK RAIL CONTRACTORS. These works are detailed as inspections, maintenance and repairs at the level crossings.
The Order will come into operation on Friday, 23 April 2021, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 30 April 2021. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices
