B1203 HIGH STREET, WALTHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 23-109) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:

• A section of B1203 HIGH STREET – From the roundabout junction of BARNOLDBY ROAD heading in a north easterly direction to the property boundary of SWAGS AND TAILS.

Alternative route: B1203 Brigsley Road, B1203 Waltham Road, B1203 Main Road, B1203 Ashby Hill, A18 Barton Street, A46 Grimsby Road, A46 Laceby Road, A1243 Scartho Road, B1203 Waltham Road, B1203 Grimsby Road, B1203 High Street

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Anglian Water. These works are detailed as a communication pipe repair.

The Order will come into operation on Sunday, 22 October 2023, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Wednesday, 25 October 2023. Definitive dates and times will be notified with on-site advanced warning signs.
