ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)
GREAT COATES LEVEL CROSSING – WOAD LANE, GRIMSBY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 25-046) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
- A section of WOAD LANE, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its junction with STATION ROAD, GREAT COATES to a point 20 metres north of GREAT COATES LEVEL CROSSING.
Alternative route: STATION ROAD, A1136 GREAT COATES ROAD, A1136, A180, ESTATE ROAD 1, WOAD LANE
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail. These works are detailed as level crossing maintenance.
Works will be undertaken overnight between 11:30pm and 8:15am to minimise disruption to traffic.
The Order will come into operation on Saturday, 24 May 2025, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until 08:15hrs on Sunday, 25 May 2025. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
