BOUNDARY ROAD AND DAWLISH ROAD, GRIMSBY (IN PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITON OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 25-061) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:

  • BOUNDARY ROAD – Part length from its junction with Grimsby Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approx.150 metres.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Waltham Road, Fairfield Road, Bulwick Avenue (reverse route applies)

  • DAWLISH ROAD- Part length from its junction with Boundary Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approx. 15 metres.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Torbay Drive, Totnes Road, Boundary Road, Bulwick Avenue, Fairfield Road, Waltham Road (reverse route applies)

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being proposed to be executed by Cadent Gas. These works are detailed as new gas connection works.

The Order will come into operation on Monday, 12 May 2025, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 20 June 2025. Definitive dates and times will be notified with on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
