ARMED FORCES WEEKEND 2025 (INCLUDING CARNIVAL), CLEETHORPES
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 25-098) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order,
the effect of which will be that:
- No person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to PROCEED along the sections of highway
detailed in Schedule 1 (‘ROAD CLOSURES’) below, during the dates and times specified.
The above temporary prohibitions are required to ensure safe facilitation of, and emergency access
during the Armed Forces Weekend. Exemptions will be for authorised vehicles only.
Alternative route for diverted traffic – B1374 ST PETERS AVENUE, OXFORD STREET, A1098
QUEENS PARADE (REVERSE ROUTE APPLIES)
The Order will come into operation on Friday, 27 June 2025, and will continue in force for a period
not exceeding three days unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport,
or until completion of the event (whichever is the earlier). The temporary road closures are expected
to conclude on Sunday, 29 June 2025.Definitive dates and times will be notified with on-site
advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
