Temporary Suspension of Traffic Movement Order – TTRO 20-085E – Albert Street, Church Street and Kent Street

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

ALBERT STREET WEST, CHURCH STREET AND A SECTION OF KENT STREET, GRIMSBY

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF TRAFFIC MOVEMENT – TTRO 20-085E) ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to permit any motor vehicle from proceeding in both directions along the below sections of highway:

• ALBERT STREET WEST – from its junction with FREEMAN STREET to its junction with RAILWAY STREET
• CHURCH STREET – from its junction with FREEMAN STREET to its junction with RAILWAY STREET
• A SECTION OF KENT STREET – from its junction with FREEMAN STREET to its junction with RAILWAY STREET

This temporary suspension of traffic movement is required in order to maintain public safety whilst North East Lincolnshire Council safely undertake works to resurface the carriageway on Freeman Street.

The Order will come into operation on Friday, 17 July 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closures are expected to remain in place until Friday, 07 August 2020.
