Temporary works at Freshney Place WEST car park from next week

From Monday 29 June, Northern Powergrid will be working near Freshney Place’s West Car Park, accessed off Frederick Ward Way at the Cartergate junction.

The ground floor of the West car park (near Next) will be closed for two to three weeks while the work is being carried out. All other floors will be open as normal.

During this time, the disabled spaces and parent and child parking will be temporarily relocated to Levels 3, 5 and 7of the West Car Park.

There will be additional traffic management in the area for safety, including 4-way temporary lights at Cartergate junction.

The work is being carried out as part of the Freshney Place leisure development.
