Update on utility diversion works on Bargate

North East Lincolnshire Council and its delivery partner, Equans, wish to provide an update on the utility diversion works on Bargate.

BT Openreach will start their diversion works on Monday 15 January and will finish their works that week.

Northern Powergrid will be coming in to do their diversion works straight after and will finish week commencing Monday 22 January.

Cadent Gas will be coming in straight after Northern Powergrid to do their works on Monday 29 January and this will finish on Sunday 11 February.

During this time, temporary traffic signals will be in place 24hrs at the junction of Bargate and Dudley Street. The footway will be closed and diversions will be in place. The bus stop on Dudley Street will be temporarily suspended. The temporary lights will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm to help ease congestion.

These diversion works are taking place to relocate existing assets in preparation for junction realignment and traffic signal improvement works.
