General

North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, will be carrying out urgent works to the expansion joints on the Market Hall ramp in Grimsby town centre from Tuesday 15 June.

The works are required to replace the expansion joints to the Market Hall ramp. Engineers have noticed failures to the expansion joints are allowing water through into the building below, which is causing damage and health and safety concerns.

Works will take place each night between 8pm and 6am for four nights. The only traffic management required will be on the ramp and this is not expected to impact road users. Some elements of the work will be noisy and nearby residents and businesses have been informed.

North East Lincolnshire Council, ENGIE and the contractor would like to apologise for any inconvenient these works may cause.
