Cadent Gas are currently carrying out works in preparation for traffic signal improvement works, which are due to begin in early 2024.
They are carrying out diversion works on Bargate, Grosvenor Street, Deansgate, Cartergate and Dudley Street junctions to relocate existing assets due to the planned junction realignment in 2024.
Cadent Gas will be in from Monday 16 October until Tuesday 7 November.
During this time, 24-hour four-way temporary traffic signals will be in place 24hrs. Footway diversions will be in place and the bus stop on Dudley Street will be temporarily suspended.
More utility companies will be coming in to do their diversion works and an update on this will be provided in due course.
