We want to hear YOUR voice: the National Youth Advocacy Service Consultation

9:00 pm, Tuesday, 20th September 2022 - 2 years ago

Your voice

Are you a care-experienced young person or care leaver? Then, we need your help.

National charity, Coram Voice, have launched a consultation alongside the National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS) to hear from care experienced children and young people on some of the recommendations around advocacy, Independent Visitors (or more commonly known as Buddies) and care experience as a protected characteristic.

A survey has been designed for you as young people to complete about these recommendations – all questions will be anonymous and you can answer however many or as little questions as you would like.

The power of the voice of young people is so very important, especially as our young people are our future. It’s so important to ensure that the Government hears from as many children and young people as possible while they are deciding which recommendations they take forward. Responses from this survey will be collected directly to the Government where they will be creating their own report on what children and young people from all across England have to say and what the important messages are.
