Westkirke Avenue highway improvements to start next month

Carriageway patching works on a section of Westkirke Avenue between the junction with Louth Road and 39 Westkirke Avenue will be starting on Tuesday 9 March.

The works will take one day to complete with a road closure in place between 8am and 6pm to allow the works to be carried out safely.

Residents directly affected by the works have been informed. During the works, on-street parking will be temporarily suspended and residents have been asked to not park vehicles on the carriageway or footway to ensure a safe working area.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

The improvements are part of the Local Transport Delivery Plan to ensure the highways is in a safe and good condition for the benefit of all road users.

North East Lincolnshire Council’s Regeneration Partner, ENGIE, will be carrying out the works with contractor, Specialist Surfacing Ltd, carrying out the works.
