STUDENTS in Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham and the surrounding area will this week be receiving their A-Level results.
AS level, A level and T Level results day is on Thursday 15 August.
GCSE results will be published on Thursday 22nd August.
Speaking ahead of the results days, Lead Councillor for children, young people and education in North East Lincolnshire, Councillor Margaret Cracknell, sent her best wishes to those expecting results:
“I can’t wait to read about the results that our students have achieved after their hard work.
“It’s always an emotional day for our students. There is a lot of anxiety as students open those envelopes to find out if they got the grades that they hoped for.
“It’s important that our young people know that there is a lot of advice and support available to help them decide what to do once they’ve got their results, and to support them with their mental health.
“I’d also encourage parents to talk to their children about their plans for the future, about the results that they are expecting, and about where they can access support if they need it.
“Finally, from all of us at North East Lincolnshire Council, I want to wish all those receiving their results this week the very best of luck.”
