Funding for wards

The council’s Ward Funding Scheme was replaced by the Stronger Communities Fund in 2017/18.

All members in the ward sign each application form to say they are in agreement with the funding allocation before the application is submitted to the Chief Executive for approval.

Members follow up each project to ensure that the funding has been used for the purpose for which it was granted and submit a signed “statement of satisfaction” form to the Chief Executive’s office with evidence of spend as appropriate.
