The Clean Air Day campaign is back to improve public understanding of air pollution.

By taking part in Clean Air Day, you can do your part to help keep North East Lincolnshire a safe and healthy place to live.

Poor air quality is factor in heart and lung diseases and can also lead to other health problems.

Clean Air Day is the UK’s largest air pollution campaign, and usually takes place in June.

However, due to COVID-19, this year Clean Air Day is taking place on 8 October 2020 and will be take place mainly online with virtual events.

During lockdown, millions of people changed their routines in a way that reduced air pollution, demonstrating that a clean air future is possible.

More people have embraced new low air pollution behaviours, such as walking, cycling, and working from home.

You can follow the campaign on social media with the hashtag #CleanAirDay.
