The next Farmers’ and Craft Market of the season will be in Grimsby this Friday (16 May).
The Farmers’ and Craft Market runs on the 3rd Friday of every month in the town centre, subject to weather conditions.
It will open at its new location, Riverhead Square, at 9am on Friday morning until around 3pm that day, and will have all sorts of delights for you to buy.
The popular market set in the heart of Grimsby Town Centre offers locally sourced, essential produce including cheese, meat, chocolate and cakes as well as gifts, flowers and plants.
Attending the market this month are:
- Redhill Farm (all things pork, cooked and raw)
- Sticky Fingers Cakes and Bakes (Traybakes, doughnuts, brownies & savoury bakes)
- The Cheese Den (Variety of cheese and dairy products)
- Campbells Cakery (hot crumble bar, homemade cakes and bakes)
- Daryls Shed (flowers, plants and bulbs)
- The Star of Lemuria (ethically sourced gemstones, essential oils and healing tools)
- Eve Honey Bees (honey, homemade chocolate and all sorts of wax products)
- LittleInferno Co (all sorts of gifts)
There is also an offer available to new traders to the market! New traders will be offered a ‘buy one get one free’ offer for the first eight months’ trading, providing an ideal opportunity to trial or grow their business. Stalls cost just £24 a day (gazebo and table included), but if you’re a new trader, you can pay for a month, then get the next month free, for a period of eight months, meaning an average cost, for your first eight months, of just £12 each day!
Cllr Stephen Harness, Cabinet member for Assets, said: “It’s great to have the market in its new space, and along with Top Town Market due to open shortly in its new location in Freshney Place, it will provide a really good, regular shopping alternative for people in the heart of the town.”
