ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)
STATION ROAD, GREAT COATES (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC– TTRO 25-015) ORDER 2025
WHEREAS the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”), in exercise of its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 hereby make the following Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or pedal cycle from PROCEEDING along on the below sections of highway:
- A section of STATION ROAD, GREAT COATES – The Junction of STATION ROAD with COOKS LANE
Alternative route: Station Road, Woad Lane, Moody Lane, Pyewipe Road, Boulevard Avenue, Yarborough Road, Great Coates Road, Station Road (Reverse Applies)
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Cadent. These works are detailed as gas main replacement work. .
The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply in the interpretation of the Order as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
The Order shall come into operation on Monday, 11 August 2025 and shall continue for a period of eighteen months unless extended by Order of the Secretary of State for Transport.
There are no exemptions to the order on the grounds of safety.
The Order may be cited as “The North East Lincolnshire Borough Council, Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1)(a), Station Road, Great Coates (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic – TTRO 25-015), Order 2025”
