A new exhibition at Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre will celebrate all things coastal with a range of stunning photographs.

Moments in Time will run from Saturday, 13 December, 2025 to Sunday, 15 March, 2026, held in the Muriel Baker Gallery.

Itshowcases the extraordinary talent of local photographer Steve Dixey. Steve has spent a lot of his free time as a beach wanderer, drawn to the sands and the sea, peering in pools, digging around for fishing bait and going fishing. The sea is in his blood; his father worked on Grimsby trawlers.

This exhibition features a collection of his stunning photographs of coastal scenes, capturing the natural and man-made heritage between Cleethorpes and The Wash.

The museum is supported by funding from Arts Council England NPO Investment Programme.

Whilst visiting, why not take a trip around the museum itself or take a tour of Grimsby’s famous trawler, The Ross Tiger. The centre is open Tuesday to Sunday 10am – 4pm with Ross Tiger tours available at 11am, 12pm and 2pm and must be booked on entry.
