Improvements are set to be carried out at a Grimsby junction to make the area safer for motorists and pedestrians.
A box junction will be added at the junction of Scartho Road, Forsythia Drive, and Cragston Avenue in Grimsby. The purpose of this scheme is to ensure the junction remains clear while improving the flow of traffic, particularly access from the Hospital.
These works are scheduled to take place overnight between 9pm on the 9 December 2025 and approximately 4am the following day.
To allow a safe working area four-way signals will be in place during the works, and access to Cragston Avenue, Forsythia Drive and the Hospital will be maintained as much as possible, but there may be short periods when access is restricted.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout the works. Although every effort will be made to minimise disruption, please be aware that some elements may be noisy.
The Council and contractor, Specialist Surfacing Ltd would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience and assure you that the work will be completed as quickly and safely as possible. Work will be weather dependent.
If you have any concerns regarding access or questions about the project in general, please email [email protected]
