Are you paying too much for your energy? Or wondering if now is the right time to switch?

North East Lincolnshire Council has partnered with Switch Together Energy – the national energy switching initiative formerly known as Big Community Switch, to help local residents save money on their bills while accessing tariffs backed by 100% renewable electricity.

Switch Together brings households from across the country together to negotiate exclusive, fixed-rate energy deals with trusted, vetted suppliers. By joining forces, communities can secure better value than they might achieve alone.

Although the Scheme has a new name, Switch Together still offers the same trusted service – only now it’s bigger, national, and able to unlock even more benefits, including:

  • Even better energy deals through collective buying power
  • Protection against future price rises
  • Access to exclusive tariffs backed by 100% renewable electricity
  • A hassle-free, no-obligation switching process

Here’s how it works:

An energy auction will take place where suppliers compete to offer the most competitive tariff. After registering, you’ll receive a personalised offer based on your current energy use. You’ll then have four weeks to decide whether to accept the offer and switch or simply stay with your existing supplier.

Whether you’re unhappy with your current provider or waiting for a more stable market, Switch Together offers a simple, stress-free way to explore potential savings.

Key Dates

  • Registration opens: Monday 23 February
  • Auction date: Tuesday 31 March
