A new leadership opportunity has been launched for an ambitious professional to lead the delivery of the Pride in Place Programme in Immingham and Habrough, helping local communities shape a long-term vision for the area’s future.
Hosted by Oasis Community Partnerships, the full-time Pride in Place Programme Coordinator role will play a central part in delivering a significant Government-funded initiative, which will see £20-million invested over the next 10 years, and is designed to empower residents, businesses and local organisations to drive positive change across the two communities.
The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of a 10-year Regeneration Plan and a 4-year Investment Plan, working closely with the local Neighbourhood Board and a wide range of partners to ensure local people remain at the heart of decision-making.
Pride in Place aims to strengthen communities, improve local places and create opportunities for future generations through a community-led approach to regeneration and investment.
The Programme Coordinator will provide visible place leadership, oversee governance arrangements, coordinate community engagement activities, manage programme delivery and ensure compliance with Government funding requirements. The role will also involve building strong relationships with public services, local authorities, businesses, community groups and elected members.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Neighbourhood Board, managing budgets and financial reporting, developing project plans and performance frameworks, overseeing procurement processes and championing the aspirations of local residents.
Oasis Community Partnerships is seeking applicants with significant experience in programme, project or partnership management, alongside strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Candidates should also have experience in financial management, governance processes and community consultation.
The position is offered on a fixed-term basis, subject to programme funding, with a salary of £42,752 per annum and 40 hours per week.
