This Place We Share is an open photography exhibition showcasing over 150 remarkable photographs of North East Lincolnshire.
In this exhibition, over 80 photographers explore their connection to the local area and reflect on the stories, moments, and places that matter to them.
Iconic landmarks and breathtaking landscapes are displayed alongside cherished moments of everyday life. With a variety of perspectives, styles, and experiences, these photographers are united through the inspiration they find in the local area.
This exhibition invites you to see North East Lincolnshire through their eyes and reflect on the people, places, and spaces that matter to you.
Open from Friday, 11 September, 2026 to Sunday, 3 January, 2027 at the Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre in the Muriel Baker gallery.
This Place We Share is funded by Create NEL and the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
If you come to visit the exhibition, why not visit the centre whilst you’re there and learn about Grimsby’s rich fishing past. From the moving deck to the local chippy, you’ll find out everything about their lives on sea and land.
After taking a walk round the museum and exhibition, you can put your feet up with a cake and coffee with a visit to the Galley Café.
