Autumn is finally upon us, the leaves are starting to fall, the temperatures have dropped and the cosiest season has begun. Would you believe we’re only 10 weeks until Christmas! Start planning early, and enjoy browsing unique products, handmade goods, tasty food, personalised art and much more from local traders at this month’s Farmers and Craft Market on Friday 16 October.
Don’t forget your fresh fruit and vegetables, locally produced meats, baked goods, pet gifts, beautiful smelling wax melt and much more. The popular market provides an opportunity to meet local producers, learn about the products on offer and enjoy the quality and variety that local businesses bring to the community.
Joining the market this month is new trader Jerk Centre Ltd. They will be selling authentic Jamaican sauces and dressings, which have won awards at the National Chilli Awards.

The market is conveniently located in the Town Centre at Riverhead Square, with good accessibility for public transport and there is nearby parking for those travelling by car. It takes place on the third Friday of every month, from 9am to 3pm (subject to weather conditions).
Christmas is fast approaching and what better time to give the ever-growing Farmers Market a go? Traders wanting to get involved in future markets can benefit from pitches for just £24 per day, including a gazebo and table.
