Parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are being encouraged to complete the North East Lincolnshire SEND Annual Survey.
The survey gives families an opportunity to share their experiences of SEND services and tell local services what is working well and where improvements are needed.
Feedback from previous surveys has helped shape developments across education, health and social care services as well as information, advice and guidance about SEND.
Ann-Marie Matson, Director of Children’s Services at North East Lincolnshire Council said: “This year’s survey will help us understand the priorities of families and ensure future improvements are informed by lived experience.
“We gather insight about SEND broadly across our services, but we hope to reach many more parents and carers and children and young people through the annual SEND survey.
“The voices of parents and carers are vital.
“We want to hear about your experiences, both positive and challenging, so we can better understand what matters most to local families.
“Every response helps us build a clearer picture of how SEND services are working and where we need to focus our efforts.”
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is open from Monday 2 November until Monday 14 December.
