ROSS Castle in Cleethorpes will this weekend join a host of other landmarks across England and Wales in marking National Census Day.
The local Victorian seaside folly will be illuminated in purple light this weekend, joining other iconic sites including the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, BT Tower in London and Blackpool Tower.
National Census Day takes place on Sunday 21 March 2021.
Every household in England and Wales has been sent a code to enable them to complete the census online, with paper copies available to those who do not have access to the internet.
The census is a survey that happens every 10 years and gives the Office for National Statistics (ONS) a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales. The next census takes place on Sunday 21 March 2021.
Your answers to the census questions will help organisations make decisions on planning and funding public services in your area, including transport, education and healthcare.
