EU nationals living in North East Lincolnshire have less than 50 days to apply for settled status under the Government’s EU Settlement Scheme.

If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, you and your family can apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021. You can also apply if you’re the family member of an eligible person of Northern Ireland.

The scheme has received over 5-million applications already, with 4.8-million processed.

You must also register your children if applicable as they will not automatically be included in the application even if you’ve registered yourself. Please visit Apply settled status for child for more details.

The EEA includes the EU countries and also Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The scheme is free to apply to, and if your application is successful, you will get either settled or pre-settled status.

The deadline to apply to the scheme is 30 June 2021. You must usually have started living in the UK before 31 December 2020.

Local support with making an application is available from [email protected] or Citizens Advice – [email protected].
