The North East Lincolnshire Borough Council

(Prohibition of Vehicles, Except for access) (Great Coates Road Lay-by, Healing and A1173 Riby Road Lay-by, Stallingborough) (No. 21-01) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that on 06 October 2021 North East Lincolnshire Borough Council made the
above Traffic Regulation Order under powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the
effect of which will be as follows:

  1. Prohibit all vehicles, including ridden pedal cycles and horse-drawn vehicles from proceeding along the lay-bys detailed below:
    • GREAT COATES ROAD LAY-BY – Great Coates Road, Healing – Full length of the Lay-by commencing at the exit to the Lay-by 96 metres west of the roundabout junction with A1136 (Grid Reference TA 22772 10003) to the Lay-by entrance 413 metres west of the roundabout junction with A1136 (Grid Reference TA 22461 10014).
    • RIBY ROAD LAY-BY – A1173 Riby Road, Stallingborough – Full length of the Lay-by commencing from a point no more than 325 metres north-east of the entrance to the Stallingborough Grange Hotel (Grid Reference TA 18993 10928) for the entire length of the Lay-by (250 metres) which terminates at Grid Reference TA 19149 11089.

Access will still be maintained for pedestrians.

The Order will come into force on the 25 October 2021.

If any person wishes to challenge the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
