If you’re interested in a career working with children and families, you might want to read on.

North East Lincolnshire Council’s children’s services are looking for eager candidates to join their team, improving the lives of children and families in our area.

The roles currently open include Business Support Officers and Family Support Workers, based at the Civic Offices in Cleethorpes.

Interested candidates have the chance to speak to staff working within Children’s Services about the roles, at a drop-in session being held at Grimsby Town Hall on Thursday 23 June 2022 from 6pm to 8pm.

Councillor Margaret Cracknell, portfolio holder for children and education at North East Lincolnshire

Council, said:

“Our Family Support Workers are a brilliant team that work really closely with local families to understand what their children need and put plans in place to enable families to stay together without intervention.

“It’s a really important role that often prevents families from requiring further work, and it is incredibly rewarding to see those families that you’ve worked with stay together and flourish.

“We’ve also seeking some enthusiastic people to support our social care teams in business support roles, providing administrative support.

“This is a  crucial role that really supports our frontline staff to get the best results for our local children and families.

“We’re eager to hear from candidates interested in these roles. If you’re interested and would like to find out more, get in touch or come along to our drop-in session on Thursday evening at Grimsby Town Hall.”

The drop-in session will be held at Grimsby Town Hall on Thursday 23 June 2022 from 6pm to 8pm.
