Temporary Prohibition of Traffic (22-107) – Roxton Sidings Level Crossing – Roxton Road, Immingham – 28 September 2022

ROXTON SIDINGS LEVEL CROSSING – ROXTON ROAD, IMMINGHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 22-107) ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:

• A section of ROXTON ROAD – Part Length from a point 20 metres north-east of ROXTON SIDINGS LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres south-west of ROXTON SIDINGS LEVEL CROSSING.

Alternative route: ROXTON ROAD, ROXTON LANE, STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD, KEELBY ROAD, A1173 STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD, B1210 STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD (reverse route applies)

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail.  These works are detailed as annual barrier test at level crossing.

Works will be undertaken overnight between 23:30hrs and 09:00hrs to limit disruption to traffic.

The Order will come into operation on Saturday, 15 October 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until 09:00hrs on Sunday, 16 October 2022.  Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
