General

North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, EQUANS, are planning to carry out footpath improvement works on Footpath 10. This footpath is located between Weelsby Avenue and A16 Peaks Parkway, with access on Weelsby Avenue between Mirfield Road and Drew Avenue.

The works consist of cutting back any overgrown vegetation and laying a new crushed limestone surfacing along the extent of the footpath.

The works are due to start on Monday 17 October and are expected to be completed by Friday 18 November, subject to weather conditions. Upon the completion of the works, the surface will be even and the footpath will provide a much better experience for pedestrians.

To allow the works to be completed and to ensure the safety of those completing the works, a 24-hour footpath closure will be in place until the works are complete. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption throughout the works. However, please be aware that some elements will be noisy.

The council, EQUANS and contractor PBS Construction Ltd would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience and assure you that the work will be completed as quickly and safely as possible.
