Relationship Counselling
Children and Young People
Relate is a national federated charity with over 70 years experience of supporting the nation’s relationships. Our vision is of a future where healthy relationships form the heart of a thriving society. Grimsby, Cleethorpes & District Samaritans
Together we can make change that saves lives.
Our Vision
Our vision is that fewer people die by suicide.
To achieve this, we believe Samaritans has a crucial role to play in:
Reducing the risk factors that make some people more likely to take their own lives.
Ensuring that people who are at increased risk of suicide are supported.
Making it less likely that people who do experience suicidal thoughts act on them.
Reducing the likelihood that people will develop suicidal thoughts.
Our Mission
We’re here every day and night of the year for anyone struggling to cope. We make sure people have somewhere to turn and support when they need it most. We work with communities to let people know we’re here for them and we campaign to make suicide prevention a priority.
Our Values
Our support services adapt to the changing environment, but the values at the core of our listening service remain constant:
Listening
Exploring feelings alleviates distress and helps people to reach a better understanding of their situation and the options open to them.
Confidentiality
If people feel safe, they are more likely to be open about their feelings.
Non-judgemental
We want people to be able to talk to us without fear of prejudice or rejection.
People making their own decisions
We believe that people have the right to find their own solution and that telling people what to do takes responsibility away from them.
Human contact
Giving people time, undivided attention and empathy meets a fundamental emotional need and reduces distress and despair.
Whatever you’re facing, a Samaritan will face it with you
Every 10 seconds, Samaritans responds to a call for help.
We’re here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure.
Samaritans is not only for the moment of crisis, we’re taking action to prevent the crisis.
We give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. And we encourage, promote and celebrate those moments of connection between people that can save lives.
We offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need.
In prisons, schools, hospitals and on the rail network, Samaritans are working with people who are going through a difficult time and training others to do the same.
Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, and Samaritans’ vision is that fewer people die by suicide.
That’s why we work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.
Read more about our vision, mission and values.
Who we are
During 2021, around 22,000 people volunteered their time for Samaritans.
Almost 20,000 trained listening volunteers responded to calls for help.
Around 2,500 volunteers supported the running of more than 200 branches and locations across the UK and Ireland.
Over 1,300 people in prison volunteered as trained Listeners.

Early Intervention In Psychosis & Transition Team
The Early Intervention in Psychosis and Transitions (EIT) service provide specialist personal care to young people who are at risk of, or experiencing, their first episode of psychosis.
If you’re between the ages of 14 and 35 and are at risk of – or experiencing – psychosis, we’ll support you with a forward-thinking personal care package that challenges the stigma and misconceptions of mental health.
We believe that psychosis shouldn’t stop you from living a worthwhile, productive and happy life. We aim to prevent psychosis from stopping you living. We’ll get you back on your feet and on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.
You’ll be allocated a care coordinator who will design a care plan with you and, if you agree, your family. We’ll actively listen to you, working collaboratively alongside you to empower you to stay connected, optimistic, build your identity and live a meaningful life.
There are two care pathways within EIT:
The traditional First Episode of Psychosis (FEP) pathway is a three-year period of care targeted at helping you recover from psychosis and lead a productive and happy life.
The At Risk Mental State (ARMS) pathway is a six to 18-month period of care aimed at helping you avoid developing psychosis.
Regardless of which pathway is most suited for you, we’ll work holistically with you and your family, supporting you across all aspects of your life.
We offer a number of therapies and support, including:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Family interventions
Carer education and support
Employment and education support
Medication and physical health screening
Wellbeing groups
Transitions
We also offer support to young people making the transition from child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) to adult mental health services, regardless of diagnosis.
We work alongside the local CAMHS team, getting to know the young person and identifying the most appropriate NAViGO service for them. This is usually a six-month service.

Helpline 0808 801 0677 Youthline 0808 801 0711 Student Line 0808 801 0811
What we do
Our national Helpline exists to encourage and empower people to get help quickly, because we know the sooner someone starts treatment, the greater their chance of recovery. People can contact us online or by phone 365 days a year. We listen to them, help them to understand the illness, and support them to take positive steps towards recovery. We also support family and friends, equipping them with essential skills and advice, so they can help their loved ones recover whilst also looking after their own mental health. And we campaign to increase knowledge among healthcare and other relevant professionals, and for better funding for high-quality treatment, so that when people are brave enough to take vital steps towards recovery, the right help is available to them.
The work we do means that every year lives are saved, families are kept together, and people are able to live free of eating disorders.

British Association For Counselling And Psychotherapy
Our philosophy
Counselling changes not just the lives of individuals, but of families and communities.
Our desire for social justice determines everything we do and guides our relationship with our members and the public, as well as commissioners and government. It’s why we champion the counselling professions as a viable, and increasingly evidence-based choice for people. We know counselling works.
We’re alongside our members throughout their careers and put them at the heart of what we do. We understand their needs and support them in making a positive difference to the mental wellbeing of their clients.
We do this by promoting and facilitating research to produce trusted best practice, and by providing a robust framework to ensure the profession follows and adheres to the highest possible standards that protect individuals seeking therapy.
As a result, we help the general public, individuals and commissioners make better, more informed choices about the provision of counselling, and continue to raise the ethical and professional standards of the profession.
Our values
Our values were developed through conversations with employees about what it means to be BACP and what we need to succeed.
By living our values we’ll be better able to achieve our purpose and to meet the changing needs of our members.
Responsibility - we take responsibility for all our actions and do the right thing, feeling safe to admit our mistakes
Encouragement - we encourage ideas for continuous improvement, being open to change and challenges
Support - we value each other and our diversity, promoting inclusiveness and tolerance
Passion - our work will reflect our passion for counselling changing lives
Excellence - we strive for the highest standards
Collaboration - we work together for the best outcomes: communicating, listening, learning and sharing ideas
Trust - we have integrity, building and maintaining trust, openness, honesty and fairness

Special Advisory Service - Portage (NELincs Portage Service)
Special Advisory Service
The Specialist Advisory Service is made up of several teams who work together to support children and young people in partnership with others and aims to improve the quality of life of children and young people.
Mainstream Key Stage Team
This team is made up of Specialist Teachers who provide an advisory and assessment service to schools for children and young people (CYP) with severe and complex difficulties at the SEN Support level, and for those with Education Health and Care Plans.
The team comprises specialist teachers in the areas of Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
The team is in regular contact with all schools where discussions can be held to determine those CYP most in need of access to the service.
Information and guidance for professionals
The professionals area of our local offer is where we put information, links and resources for the people working in the services involved with SEND.
Go to SEND information and guidance for professionals - external site.
Early Years Team
The Early Years SEND team offers term-time outreach advice and support to parents and settings.
The team also forms part of the Multi-Agency Assessment Group offering early assessment for children with significant and complex developmental needs. The Early Years Psychologist is also part of this group, as are various therapists.
Referrals are made through the CAF and Early Support processes. Some children are identified through a medical referral or through Child in Need/Child Protection meetings.
Portage
The Portage Service is a term-time home visiting educational service for pre-school children with additional support needs. The needs of individual children may present as either severe, complex or profound and multiple difficulties.
All pre-school children with learning support needs are eligible for the service.
The service has an open referral system, so parents/carers or anyone with concerns regarding a child’s development and with the parent/carers’ permission, can refer a pre-school child.
A general guide to referral would be that a child demonstrates significant developmental delay when compared with their peer group or that the child has a recognised medical condition.

Older People's Inpatient
Specialist inpatient suites for older people
Konar Suite, The Janine Smith Suite and Barbara's Beacon
Sometimes an elderly loved one’s mental health problems may be particularly serious.
If so, they might benefit from a period of intensive assessment and treatment in our inpatient services.
Our older people’s suites are homely purpose-built facilities carefully designed to create a positive, safe and stimulating environment for those living with illnesses such as dementia.
A lot of care and attention has gone into developing our suites to make sure they meet the needs of service users. At a time when they are at the most vulnerable stage of their illness.
Providing round-the-clock access to nursing, psychology and medical support, as well as social care, healthcare, physiotherapy, speech therapists and dieticians, the suites work closely with our community mental health services .
From music therapy to art class, we provide lots of daily therapeutic and leisure activities.
And we work closely with carers and other support services to make sure all aspects of your care are considered including your future needs, helping to support you living in the community.
We’re the envy of many inpatient services across the country and have received national recognition for innovation and patient-centred provision.
Konar Suite
Rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC, the award-winning 13-bedroom suite is designed to meet the needs of older people experiencing an acute phase of mental health, whether this be of organic (such as dementia) or functional origin (such as depression, schizophrenia or anxiety).
We provide an evidence-based, individualised service for all our service users at the time when they are at the most vulnerable stage of their lives. At all times, we promote recovery and social inclusion for our service users so that they are re-integrated into their local community at the earliest opportunity.
We endeavour to deliver acute care in the least restrictive environment. We encourage independence and personal choice throughout a person’s time on the unit, putting the service user at the heart of what we do.
We actively encourage our service users and their families to be involved in planning their care and recovery plans where possible. Our highly-trained staff deliver a service that promotes respect and maintains dignity in an environment that they would be happy for their own loved ones to receive care in.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art sensory bathroom, outside gym, sensory relaxation room and even a pub, accommodation is also provided for carers should they wish to stay with their loved ones.
Janine Smith Suite
The ten-bedroom specialist facility offers above enhanced nursing care and support to individuals with complex needs. These needs may be the result of either an organic illness, such as dementia, or as a result of a functional mental health concern, such as schizophrenia or depression.
Equipped with a state-of-the art sensory bathroom, outside gym, attractive murals, indoor street scene and even a pub, each bedroom offers overnight facilities for family members because we know how important it is to be near your loved ones.
The Janine Smith Suite was developed as a result of the passion and dedication of the wife a local service user. She helped to highlight the importance of preventing out-of-area placements for those with complex needs, enabling both her own loved one and others to remain within the local community.
Barbara's Beacon
Barbara’s Beacon is our 16-bedroom residential care home facility providing support to individuals moving on from our older peoples’ acute and long-term inpatient units, and to those who require an above enhanced level of care.
Barbara’s Beacon provides support to those whose needs are too complex for traditional residential facilities. Both The Janine Smith Suite and Barbara’s Beacon were developed as a result of the passion and dedication of the wife a local service user, who helped to highlight the importance of preventing out of area placements for those with complex needs.
Bridging a gap between enhanced residential care in the private sector and the specialist older peoples’ nursing care provided at The Janine Smith Suite, Barbara’s Beacon aims to prevent people becoming inappropriately entrenched in acute facilities because of delayed discharge issues.
Barbara’s Beacon provides skilled care and interventions for service users with complex needs, embracing their physical, mental, psychological and social needs within a dedicated residential environment. Whatever the person’s symptoms, our approach puts the emphasis on the person rather than the illness and the challenges it presents. Our skilled and compassionate staff work closely with dedicated Occupational Therapists to ensure we understand each person’s life story, build on their strengths and give them a sense of purpose and achievement

Assertive Outreach
The assertive outreach team works with an identified group of service users who have severe mental health problems and aren’t currently engaging effectively with mental health services.
We’re flexible, so people who aren’t comfortable accessing services can still receive help and support. We work with you in your own environment, or a place you feel happy to meet, to persuade you to keep connected to mental health support services.
We sometimes use housing departments, police stations, social security offices and inpatient lodges as meeting places.
Our team is made up of nurses, social workers and assistant practitioners. Our low ratio of service users to staff means we can work more closely and more intensively with you – sometimes as often as twice a day if required.
Engagement is the core concept of assertive outreach. It’s a vital component in the development of a therapeutic relationship between NAViGO and people with mental health illnesses.

Psychology may introduce you to any of a number of therapies including:

We’ll work alongside you and tailor therapy to your needs, taking into consideration factors like your personality, history and current presentation.
If you aren’t currently a NAViGO service user, but believe your mental health would benefit from talking therapies, you should contact Open Minds in the first instance.
You can self-refer online.

The team will work with you - and your family and friends - to understand your needs and help support you to keep living independently in your home while also improving your quality of life.
We can also support your carers too.
The service is split into seven teams. Across these teams, there are healthcare professionals and specialists who work together to provide you with support and care.

Green And Blue Social Prescribing
Activities connecting people with nature
Get involved today
Shall we go outside?
The last few years have shown the importance of being outdoors and how it can benefit people’s mental and physical health (something we know more than most here at NAViGO).
On the back of this, the government announced a multi-million pound investment aimed at preventing and tackling mental ill health through green and blue social prescribing.
Let’s be honest, that’s a weird title. But it basically means connecting people with their surroundings through nature or water-based activities that bring a range of physical and mental health benefits.
The Humber and North Yorkshire region (including us, here in good old North East Lincolnshire) is one of seven ‘test and learn’ sites in England who are looking at the impact of such activity. As one of the test sites, we’re looking at how activities can improve mental health as well as reduce health inequalities. Plus how we can develop best practice in making activities accessible and reduce demand on the wider health and social care system.
So what does this mean for you? Well, you’ll find information about a range of activities on our events calendar - from coastal walks to litter picks, community gardening to paddle boarding.
We’re also offering free taster sessions (for activities that usually charge) to service users so if you’ve ever fancied a go at canoeing or scuba diving, let us know and we might be able to help arrange a session for you.
Don’t know what you fancy? Need some inspiration? Then let us know. We’re happy to brainstorm some options with you.

The Sequoia Therapeutic Community is a day psychotherapy programme for people with long-term emotional difficulties.
If you have a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (also known as Borderline Personality Disorder), or you believe you might have one, you may be referred to the two-year Sequoia programme.
Therapeutic Communities (TCs) like Sequoia are based on the work of William Tuke, who believed people needed meaningful support and valued roles within society to improve their health and wellbeing.
And we’re one of the best TCs in the country having been accredited by the Community of Communities – the Royal College of Psychiatry’s accreditation programme.
We provide a structured, three-days a week programme and concentrate on your relationship with others, with different activities deliberately designed to help you adjust to life in outside society.
You’ll be introduced to a few different therapies, including Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), art groups, stress management and more!
If you join Sequoia, we need you to be enthusiastic and wanting to work hard on changing your life! We spend a lot of time together as a community, cooking and eating together and supporting each other on our journeys toward feeling well again.
How do I contact the Sequoia Therapeutic Community?

Community Mental Health Team
The way community mental health teams deliver mental health services across North East Lincolnshire has been transformed. We are now integrated with Primary Care Networks (PCNs), which are groups of GP practices.
The changes have put the service user front and centre. They are focused on ensuring their needs are met, with the support required delivered as quickly and effectively as possible.
What are the aims?
We want to better support more people with serious mental health problems — such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, eating disorders, rehabilitation needs and severe depression — within their local community.
We also want to create a system that is accessible and flexible, bringing together the mental health services we provide at NAViGO with GP practices, social care and the voluntary sector.
This creates a single point of access for mental health concerns that focuses on the needs of the individual, improving access to services, service user experience and individual outcomes.

Individual Placement & Support
Employment rates for people with severe mental illness are unacceptably low.
While 90% of this group of people want to work, only 8% are holding down employment.
Individual Placement and Support (IPS) helps to address this imbalance by supporting people with complex mental health illnesses into employment.
Research suggests that IPS clients are twice as likely to gain employment as those in vocational training and sheltered work are.
We work in partnership with mental health professionals to build support tailored to the service user's needs, based on their job preferences and ambitions.
After a rapid job search, they'll be supported to apply for paid employment and we’ll give them (and their employer, if applicable) timely support to address any barriers and find solutions.
We give them:
Free individual support
Job search guidance
Successful interview techniques
Support to apply for paid employment
Regular confidential reviews
Advice on writing effective CVs, covering letters and applications
Advice on employment-related benefits
Advice on creating a positive mental health disclosure statement for use during interviews and applications
We believe everyone who wants to find paid work can do so. If you want to find paid employment, are committed to achieving your goals and are engaged in mental health services, we can work with you.
Let’s land you that job!

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
Targeted Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (tTMS) is a non-invasive treatment that can improve the symptoms of depression .
tTMS uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the neurons in the brain related to mood and anxiety, where communication between them is either overactive or underactive.
It’s medically safe, recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), pain-free and can deliver effective results within two weeks.
Side effects are uncommon and, where they do occur, are very mild.
The treatment is delivered by our partners, TranQuality.

Joint Response Vehicle
Our Joint Response Vehicle responds to calls where there is a mental health concern, providing alternative transport to an ambulance or police car for people who may need help with their emotional health.
The service can be accessed by individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, as well as police officers, ambulance or rapid response crew and carers who believe someone is experiencing a mental health crisis.
The JRV is our response to the national ambulance transformation agenda set out as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.
This approach reduces pressure on emergency services and unnecessary deployment of ambulances. It also:
supports Section 136 and Mental Health Act conveyancing
gives access to crisis from the local community
helps the police to assess mental health needs in the community
supports transport between NAViGO sites for inpatients
proactively prevent unnecessary detention under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act
supports home-based crisis assessments where appropriate
supports joint assessment with internal and wider external teams
Police and ambulance staff can download posters to promote the service by heading to the Media Centre.
f you’re in a mental health crisis and need urgent help, call the Single Point of Access on (01472) 256256 and select option 3. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Tukes Employment And Training
Tukes is an employment and training scheme that helps local people with mental health problems build confidence and gain new skills.
The Tukes team gives service users ‘hands-on’ opportunities in real working environments, helping to give structure and routine to their lives. There’s also the opportunity to study and gain recognised qualifications in relevant areas including catering and horticulture.
Set up in July 2003, Tukes is named after William Tuke – an eighteenth-century tradesman who helped to develop more humane ways of caring for people with mental health issues.
You’ll see Tukes members working alongside NAViGO staff around our buildings – they’re cooking food in our kitchens, serving coffees to the public in our cafes and vacuuming the floors of our therapy rooms.
Tukes are a massive part of what makes NAViGO unique.
Catering
Fancy being the next Gordon Ramsay? If you choose our catering pathway, we’ll teach you basic cooking skills before you work your way up to higher levels.
You’ll become an expert on hygiene, money handling and customer service, and be able to explain to everyone the difference between a cappuccino and a mochaccino – all with a smile on your face!
Domestics
At an organisation like NAViGO, it’s so important to keep everything clean and tidy for service users.
You’ll become familiar with health and safety regulations and be able to safely and appropriately deal with a whole host of hazardous substances.
You’ll team up with our experienced domestic staff and, eventually, maybe even be able to give Mrs Hinch a run for her money with polish and a duster!
Horticulture
Are you green fingered?
If you go down the horticultural route with Tukes, you may be working at Grimsby Garden Centre, learning to take care of our massive collection of plants.
You’ll also discover how to work as part of a team and build your confidence around other people. You might even get to work those biceps and triceps as there’s plenty of moving and handling involved!
Education
Tukes run a number of nationally-recognised courses in maths, English and IT skills, both remotely and at the Tukes Hub on Brighowgate in Grimsby.

Turning Point - Mental Health

•Floating support

The road to recovery may not be easy, but we believe that with the right support - and our personalised, flexible services - you can live the life you want.
Involvement
Involvement is about making sure the voices of people we support are heard and that their experiences and opinions are used to improve our overall service provision. Involvement is a key theme for our mental health services and at the heart of the support we provide. We have regular Involvement meetings across the country, where service users input into organisational developments and suggest areas of change. They have been instrumental in shaping our recovery agenda, developing policies, information guides, brand changes and service developments.
Recovery
We support those with a range of mental health conditions, dual diagnosis and other complex needs to live as independently as possible through a recovery-focused approach. We work with ImROC (Implementing Recovery through Organisational Change) to ensure that our processes and future vision are embracing the recovery principles of hope, control and opportunity. We want to put recovery at the heart of the services we provide. One of the ways we are achieving this is through our Recovery Involvement Charter, which was co-produced with the people we support and their staff teams from all over the country.
We have vast experience of supporting people with a range of complex, multiple needs, therefore if you require help for more than one issue please do get in contact. Please take a look at our Dual Diagnosis guide here for more information.

S E N D Local Offer - Lg B T +
As a member of the LGBT+ community, you may find yourself as the subject of discrimination.
This can often be a strain on your mental health.
You may have experienced homophobia, biphobia or transphobia, or faced social exclusion because of your gender or sexuality. Others may be worried about 'coming out' and telling family and friends about their sexuality - or may have already had a bad experience around this.
However, it's important to embrace your identity, as this can make you more confident, boost your self-esteem and increase your resilience.
How is being LGBT+ and mental health linked?
If you're lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, non-binary, queer, questioning, or identify your sexuality or gender in other ways, you may be more likely to experience mental health problems.
This could include:
depression and anxiety
low self-esteem
eating problems
self-harm and suicidal thoughts
Though identifying as LGBT+ itself has no bearing on these problems, factors such as homophobic bullying, stigma and social isolation can have a real effect on wellbeing.
Finding help
You may have seen some of our staff wearing NHS rainbow badges. The badges are just one way to show that NAViGO is an open, non-judgemental and inclusive place for people that identify as LGBT+.
If you see someone wearing a badge, you can ask them about it. The badge is a reminder that you can talk to our staff about who you are, be open about your identity and how you feel. They will do their best to get support for you if you need it.
If you’re in a mental health crisis and need urgent help, call the Single Point of Access on (01472) 256256 and select option 3. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Alternatively, you can call NHS 111 free from a landline or mobile phone.
If you’d rather text than talk on the phone, you can text ORANGE to 85258 to contact a trained volunteer from Shout. They’ll be able to help you reach a place of calm and, if necessary, signpost you to local services. This is a free, 24/7 service.????
Inclusion is our fortnightly peer-to-peer group for young people who are members and allies of North East Lincolnshire’s LGBT+ community. Based at The Attic on the top floor of the Carers’ Support Centre and open to those aged between 16 and 25 years old, it’s a safe space to meet others, make friends and take part in activities with like-minded people.
Included is a monthly peer-to-peer support group exclusively for parents, partners and carers of the LGBT+ community.
NHS Talking Therapies offers a range of therapies aimed at helping you to deal with the effects of stress, anxiety and depression and should be your first port of call if you’re looking for support. You can self-refer to NHS Talking Therapies online.
Safespace provides instant support if you’re vulnerable and need assistance with your mental health out-of-hours. You can speak to the team in person at NAViGO House on Brighowgate in Grimsby, using Zoom or by calling in via telephone.
If you’re under 16, speak to your GP, who may be able to refer you to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

S E N D Local Offer - Anxiety Uk
Anxiety UK was formed in 1970, by Katharine and Harold Fisher as a result of Katharine’s experience of agoraphobia and her desire to develop support for others similarly affected.
Since those early beginnings, we’ve grown to become a national organisation with an international reach, whilst retaining a user-led ethos – being run by and for those with anxiety. Many of our small staff team have their own lived experience and understand the distress, isolation and misery that anxiety can cause.
While we are a charity, we currently receive no public funding from any source and are wholly self-sufficient, relying on the kindness of fundraisers, donors and the income generated from the provision of our own services to fund the charity.
In 2020, to celebrate and recognise Anxiety UK’s 50th anniversary, the artist Degard was commissioned to create a painting that captured both the history of the organisation, some of the key people involved over the years and the spirit of what we aim to achieve – to help make the despair caused by anxiety a thing of the past. The painting was unveiled on World Mental Health Day (2020) and now hangs proudly in our boardroom, providing a lasting reflection of the people who have made Anxiety UK what it is today.
Anxiety UK delivers a wide range of services including:
Therapy services
Courses & groups
Anxiety research fund
Webinars and podcasts
Anxious Times magazine
We also operate a popular membership scheme.

S E N D Local Offer - Support With Mental Health - C A L M
Why we exist
One in five of us will have suicidal thoughts in our life.
CALM’s vision is that no one feels like suicide is their only option. But right now, too many people are struggling to see a way forward.
Every day in the UK we lose 18 people to suicide. This isn’t just a stat on a page. These are our mums and dads, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partners and friends. That’s why we’re here to help anyone struggling with life - and provide everyone with the skills to help prevent suicide.
What we do
Helping people end their misery, not their lives
People who feel suicidal will often say that they don’t want to die - they want the pain and misery they’re experiencing to end.
But when you’re struggling, you often can’t see a way out. You see suicide as the only option. But we know it’s not. We know there’s always a reason to stay.
That’s why our mission is to help people end their misery, not their lives.

S E N D Local Offer - The Samaritans
