General

Work is needed to the underside of Cleethorpe Road Bridge as part of the maintenance scheme for the bridges.

For safety reasons, while this work is being done, the road underneath the bridge needs to be closed off. The work will be done over several weekends so that there is no major impact to traffic in the area.

Starting this Saturday (14 September), Royal Street in Grimsby, between the junction with Prince Albert Gardens and Eastside Road, will be closed overnight for the next 3-6 weeks on a SATURDAY night only.

The road will be closed at 8pm and reopen by 6am on the Sunday morning each time.

There will be a signed diversion in place which will take traffic via Lockhill Roundabout.
