A bus stop on Wingate Road, Grimsby, will be relocated next week, opposite to the shopping area and adjacent to the existing bus stop, with a raised kerb for improved accessibility to be installed as part of the works.

Works will be starting from Monday 29 March and will take five days to complete. The majority of the works will be carried out using localised traffic management (cones and barriers). Temporary traffic signals may be required for some elements of the work throughout the week for the contractor’s safety.

As part of the works a bus shelter will also be installed. Unfortunately, the bus shelter supplier is experiencing a delay with their supply chain so works to install the shelter will take place at a later date.

North East Lincolnshire Council’s regeneration partner, ENGIE, will manage and oversee the project with PBS Construction carrying out the works.
