School admission arrangements

North East Lincolnshire Council is responsible for the admission arrangements for the community and voluntary controlled primary schools.

The admission authorities for primary and secondary voluntary aided schools and academies are the governors or academy trust of the individual schools and academies. Some academies have their own admission policy however some academies follow the North East Lincolnshire Admission Policy for community schools.

Admission Arrangements must be set annually by 28th February and published by 15th March. Once all arrangements have been determined, arrangements can be objected to and referred to the School’s Adjudicator. Objections to admission arrangements must be referred to the Adjudicator by 15th May in the school year before those arrangements are to apply (the determination year).
