COVID-19: Apply for your new blue badge now

10:00 am, Thursday, 2nd July 2020 - 4 years ago

General

Blue badge holders are being encouraged to apply for their new passes now.

It can take several weeks to process a blue badge application depending on your circumstances so North East Lincolnshire Council is asking people to apply as soon as possible.

In line with Government guidance and service impacts on issuing and renewing blue badges, penalty charge notices (PCNs) will not be issued to residents displaying blue badges with an expiry date of 1 January 2020 onwards.

The relaxation of enforcement will continue until 30 September 2020. At that point, enforcement on expired badges will restart. Enforcement against other types of blue badge misuse or parking where blue badges are not valid will continue.

Residents with expired badges can avoid a delay in issuing and apply online at Apply, renew, or replace Blue Badge.

Alternatively, please call (01472) 313131, option 7.
