Bins, waste and recycling

Having a clear out in time for Christmas or wanting to recycle the mountains of cardboard after the big day?

Then make sure to come along to Grimsby Community Recycling Centre (CRC) and have a look at their festive décor.

With Santas a plenty and a reindeer or two, you’ll see Christmas everywhere you turn. This year, the team have gone all out, creating cosy Christmas scenes including a festive piano, a warming living room and a few grinches here and there.

Remember, if you’ve run out of space in your bins you can take any excess bottles, cans, cardboard or general waste to the tip.

If you have large amounts of cardboard, please take it to Grimsby as Immingham can only accept small amounts.

Over the Christmas period, Grimsby and Immingham CRCs are open daily from 8am to 6pm, from 8am to 4pm on Christmas Eve/New Year’s Eve and Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Both sites are run by North East Lincolnshire Council’s waste management contractor Newlincs Development Ltd.

Grimsby CRC is in Estuary Way, Grimsby DN31 2UD. Immingham CRC is in Queens Road, Immingham DN40 1QR.
