Showcasing all that’s great with our borough, the Love Your Town events are and there’s lots of activities for all the family to enjoy.
Kicking things off is Love Immingham on Saturday, 14 February, with love in the air there isn’t a better time. Jam packed with free events and exhibitions; there is plenty to see and do around town with the day running from 10am to 4pm.
Organised by Immingham Town Council, the event is Immingham through and through. Have a look below at the full programme of events to make sure you don’t miss out:
- Hearsts All The Way – Unleash your inner detective with ‘The Immingham Hearts Trail’. Explore the town centre and discover hearts displayed in shop windows—each heart holds a letter, once you have all the letters, rearrange them to spell out the last location. Pick up a trail sheet from the Civic Centre Hub reception, follow the clues and complete the trail to win great prizes.
- Love Immingham Best Dressed Window Competition – Whilst you’re out and about look out for lovely dressed windows as some of our businesses take part in the Best Dressed Window competition. The displays will be up from 13th to 15th February. Who’s do you like best?
Civic Centre Main Hall
- Children’s Party, 10am-12pm – Join the ultimate children’s party full of fun, music and games. Perfect for little ones to enjoy with family and friends. Tickets for this activity are available from the Civic Centre Reception from Saturday, 7 February.
- Disco Bingo, 12pm-2pm – Groove to the beat of your favourite tunes while marking off your bingo cards. It’s a lively, interactive game that mixes dancing, music, and classic bingo—perfect for all ages. Come join the party and win tasty prizes! Tickets for this activity are available from the Civic Centre Reception from Saturday 7 February.
- Game Show, 2pm-4pm – A fun game show for all the family! Have lots of fun and win prizes! Tickets for this activity are available from the Civic Centre Reception from Saturday 7 February.
Civic Centre Reception
- Brick Futures Lego Workshop, multiple sessions – There are limited places for these sessions so those wishing to attend need to apply either in person to the Civic Centre Reception or via email to [email protected].
Places will be selected at random to give everyone a fair chance. Duplicate applications will be disqualified. There are two parts to this fun workshop facilitated by former LEGO® Master Builder, Brad Charlton Wells.
In part one, Brad will lead participants through building their own Lego tree model, custom-designed by him and inspired by Immingham’s Mayflower Woods. At the end of the session, the trees can be brought together to form a collaborative Lego Mayflower Woods installation. Participants can take their trees home as a reminder of the day.
In part two of the workshop, participants will be encouraged to reflect on what they love about Immingham, their hopes for the town’s future and their favourite local places. Using these ideas, they will design and build their own independent Lego creations inspired by Immingham. Session times: 10am-11am, 11.30am-12.30pm, 1.30pm-2.30pm and 3pm-4pm.
Civic Centre Foyer
- Discover NEL Information Point, 10am-4pm – Meet the Discover North East Lincolnshire team and pick up local information on things to do, local attractions, walks and cycle routes and more. The team will have some fantastic Love Immingham giveaways, free postcards and stickers and don’t forget to enter their fab competition to win a voucher for Fish & Chips!
- Share the Love Selfie Station, 10am-4pm – Say cheese and share the love with your best smiles! Gather your family and friends for a photo opportunity at the Love Immingham Selfie Station.
Civic Centre – Old Library
- Crafters Market, 10am-4pm – Pop up local crafters market from jewellery to candles and themed gifts by local makers.
- Face Painting, 10am-4pm – Free face painting for children.
- Creature Encounters, 10am-2pm – Meet a wide range of animals including Mr Bags, the black and white Tegu, Craig, the tangerine Bearded Dragon, Murphy, the Canadian Skunk and many more! Hosted by Exotics of the World.
Immingham Museum and Port of Immingham Tours
- Port of Immingham tour, multiple sessions – Join a guided hour-long coach tour around the Port of Immingham with ABP. Pre-booking required Starting at Immingham Museum, visitors will be taken to a behind the scenes tour around the largest port in the UK by volume of tonnage.
It’s an opportunity to learn about the town, its history and its connection to the port. There are three tours on the day – 10am / 11.30am / 1.30pm.

The museum will be open all day to visitors to tell the story of the town, and the history of the port.
Kennedy Way
- Outdoor entertainment, 10am-4pm – Enjoy the live Entertainment and Music with the Kennedy Way Karaoke! Visit the Immingham Mini Market, food vendors Visit the Kiddies Café for fun crafts for children.
Oasis Academy – The Hall
- Taiko have-a-go sessions, multiple sessions – Join a 30-minute session and have a go at Taiko Drumming. For those who want to have some fun hitting drums and learn what taiko drumming is all about, these have-a-go sessions are ideal for you.
All abilities are welcome whether you have lots of musical experience, or whether you have never played anything before.

Sessions at 11am, 11.30am, 12pm and 12.30pm. - Circus Workshops, 2pm-4pm – These circus workshops will include skills such as Poi, Hoops, Fans etc. ran by The Little Seaside Circus. Tickets for this activity are available from the Civic Centre Reception from Saturday 7 February.
However, there is still plenty more to enjoy with a range of artists who will be out and about looking for love and can’t wait to meet you!
You’ll meet The Little Seaside Circus roaming performers, see the vibrant, flowery Blooming Tall Stilt Walkers, chat with The Artisans and see if they can capture your likeness with their artistry and buzz along with the Busy Bees! Don’t forget to grab a selfie with any of our wonderful artists!
