ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(2) HIGH STREET, LACEBY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRN 25-039E) EMERGENCY NOTICE 2025
WHEREAS the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”), in exercise of its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 hereby make the following Emergency Notice the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian and cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
- HIGH STREET – Part length from the junction of CHURCH LANE heading in a north westerly direction, for a distance of 65 metres.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A
This emergency prohibition is required in order for NELC to repair the St Margaret’s church wall.
The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply in the interpretation of the Notice as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
The Notice shall come into operation on Sunday, 2 March 2025 and shall continue for a period of 21 days unless extended by Order of the Secretary of State for Transport. The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday 23rd March 2025.
