From Monday 9 August, Cadent Gas will be carrying out gas main diversion works on Little Coates Road between the junctions of Broadway and Sherwood Road.
North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, have requested the works to ensure the infrastructure in the area is safe and at the correct depths to allow for the completion of a new junction into the proposed housing development on the former Western School site.
To allow the works to be carried out safely, temporary 24 hour traffic signals will be in place from Monday 9 August until Friday 27 August, ensuring the road is fully open ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.
North East Lincolnshire Council, ENGIE and Cadent Gas would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the works but they are essential to maintain the infrastructure in this area.
Works will not be taking place on the recently completed Little Coates Road/ Cambridge Road junction improvements.
