Family Enterprise Programme
Opening the door to new beginnings for our Care Leavers.
An 8–12-week initiative for young people aged 16–25 who are in care or have left care, designed to equip them with the confidence, skills, and real-world experience to take their first steps into meaningful employment and independent living.
This isn’t just a programme. It’s a movement – powered by people, driven by purpose.
If you are a local business who wants to find out more:

About the programme
After taking part, our ambition is that the cohort will move into either employment, training, work experience or voluntary opportunities within their area of interest.
We will connect them with local businesses who are supporting the family enterprise programme through a bespoke offer that is individual to each company and person.
With up to four cohorts per year and a maximum of 10 care experienced young people per group, the programme offers a personalised, supportive environment where young people can thrive.
This isn’t about simply ‘ticking a box’. Every young person will be carefully matched with a business, charity, or training provider that aligns with their interests. It’s important that the fit works for everyone involved.
Once a match is made, each organisation will receive a tailored support package designed to help them understand how best to support that young person. We’ll be there every step of the way, providing guidance and assistance whenever and however you need us.
Our delivery partner is Creating Positive Opportunity (CPO) who’s training base will be at Centre4.
