Consultation and Engagement

Since May there has been a wide ranging conversation taking place across Grimsby about the future people want to see in the town.

Grimsby Together has inspired over 1,100 people, who share a love for the town to share their views in a wide ranging conversation to shape the future. From taxi drivers, artists to business owners; young people returning home from their studies; overseas doctors supporting the NHS, parents, grandparents, lifelong residents and adopted Grimbrarians.

This has been an energising and inspiring conversation.

To learn more about these views, come along on Thursday 18th July to Grimsby Town Hall Banqueting Room to hear the ideas and aspirations that have come up in the conversation.

What was uppermost in people’s minds as they thought about the future they want to see? Where was there most agreement? What themes have emerged and what happens next to make this vision a reality?

Members of the Our Future team, together with representatives from North East Lincolnshire Council will be in attendance to answer these questions and share some of the highlights of the conversation so far.

There will be a short presentation followed by informal discussion and an opportunity to see and hear what fellow Grimbrarians have had to say about their hopes for the future.
