Improvement works on drainage infrastructure, Church Lane, Brigsley

General

North East Lincolnshire Council and its delivery partner, Equans, are carrying out minor improvement works to the surface water system that runs along Church Lane in Brigsley.

At the beginning of October, a new gully was installed to reduce the amount of water flowing down Church Lane and into Waithe Lane. Due to the presence of utility service cables, it was not possible to place the gully in the optimum position. To correct this, the road surface will be reshaped to direct flows towards the new gully.

To complete this work safely, a full road closure will be in place from Wednesday 25 January until Friday 27 January. The closure will be on Church Lane, between the access of Willow Cottage and Orchard House.

Every effort will be made to minimise disruption throughout the works. However, please be aware that some elements will be noisy.

The council and Equans would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
