Barretts Recreation Ground, Haverstoe Park, and Sussex Recreation Ground will soon be reopened after a £255,000 renovation managed by the LTA.

This funding has been used on in-depth repairs to the courts including resurfacing, painting, and new fences, nets and an access system, so the local community have access to high-quality sports facilities for years to come.
As the refurbishment of the courts is nearing completion, we are hopeful of a mid to late spring opening just in time for the summer season. If you have a love for tennis or just being active and want to find a new sport, there will be the opportunity to book yourself into coaching sessions to develop your technique and skill.
The Council had started the process of appointing an operator for the site, we are hoping the newly appointed operator will be announced to the public soon.
