New Phone ‘n’ Ride fixed route services to be launched in Stallingborough from August

2:39 pm, Wednesday, 21st July 2021 - 3 years ago

General

Two new Phone ‘n’ Ride routes running to and from Stallingborough will be launched from Tuesday 3 August.

The weekly Tuesday morning service links villagers with Morrison’s supermarket and Grimsby town centre. Residents will also have a regular service through the village to Immingham on a Friday morning.

The introduction of the service follows a previously successful route trial in Habrough and has been developed through engagement with local residents and the parish council. The new Stallingborough services will run every Tuesday and Friday for an initial trial period of six months. They will then be reviewed with a view to making them permanent.

How do I access the service?

There is no need to register for the service or pre-book if using the fixed routes – just hop on and off at one of the stops. If you have mobility issues that require you to be picked up or dropped off closer to your home, you will need to pre-book your trip via the Booking Team at least six days in advance.

A single fare from Stallingborough to Grimsby bus station will cost £3.30 for an adult and £1.65 for a child (under 16). A single fare from Stallingborough to Morrison’s supermarket will cost £2.60 for an adult and £1.30 for a child (under 16). Under 5s and holders of a valid National Concessionary Fare Bus Pass can use the service for free. Please note that multi-trip tickets issued by Stagecoach such as Megariders and Dayriders are not valid onboard.

You can book on to the service up to 14 days in advance.
